• I received a M.A. degree in Education (focusing on teaching Chinese as a Second Language) at San Francisco State University. I also received a M.A. degree in Chinese Literature in 2003 and a B.A. degree in Chinese Language Education in 2001.

Experience

I have successful experiences in teaching Chinese in a variety of settings - not only to Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) students but also to native Chinese speakers; not only to students in middle schools and high schools (Full Time Instructor, Chinese (Mandarin) as a Second Language), but also to students in college. I received excellent teaching evaluations from all the places I have taught. I currently hold a certificate issued by Pittsburgh Commission on Teacher Credentialing for teaching Chinese language. I received the First-Class spoken Mandarin Certificate from the National Teachers Association of China. My courses help you with grammar, speaking, reading and writing, which emphasizes on basic words, sentences, and vivid daily conversation.
