I have several years of experience as a tutor and college instructor, and I'm driven by the opportunity to help students reach their goals and become self-sufficient learners. I have very strong evaluations for my students who believe that I'm skilled at teaching effectively. I also received an award as a teacher when I was a graduate school student. I currently teach world history, European history, and American history. Prior to that, I worked for seven years in journalism, so I'm skilled at writing as well. In addition, I've been an AP US history grader, and I scored very well on the GRE, ACT, and SAT. I'm looking forward to helping students in any of these areas. In my free time, I enjoy soccer, travel, building skill models, reading graphic novels, riding my bike, hiking, attending museums, and going out for live music.
