I'm a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University. I received dual bachelor of science degrees with university honors in Psychology and in Statistics, with minors in Philosophy and Cognitive Neuroscience. I have also spent a year abroad studying Psychology and Neuroscience at University College London.
Experience
I've been a Teaching Assistant for 3 years and have assisted with the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Social Psychology, Child Development, and Research Methods. I have also taught my own course on the Media Portrayal of Mental Illness. I have two research publications in the field of psychology, and have presented work at multiple research conferences, including the annual Society of Behavioral Medicine conference in Philadelphia. For students enrolled in the IB program, I also have experience as an IB Alumni and am familiar with the coursework and examinations.

Weekends after 10AM, Tues/Thurs after 5PM, Monday after 3PM, Friday after 3PM

Hobbies
Within academics my two biggest interest are research relating to clinical and health psychology, and assisting the teaching of undergraduate courses in psychology. Outside of academics I enjoy reading and writing creative nonfiction and looking into ways to improve my health and fitness through new exercises and food recipes.
