Graduate Student in Robotics at the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. I hold two B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Connecticut. In the past, I have also worked at General Electric and in an Electric Space Propulsion Lab at UCLA.

I had to struggle through much of my early science/mathematics without much mentorship or tutoring, and I want to see that change for others who are new to the fields. I would love to make a difference in peoples' lives - maybe helping them pass a class that has proven itself a trouble-spot or work on changing fundamental weaknesses that may be accumulating over time. It is an exciting prospect to be able to invigorate those around you with a true appreciation and love for a study they might have yet to uncover. I have tutored various levels of math throughout my undergraduate career. I also ran regularly occurring peer-tutoring sessions through my leadership of my university's branches of IEEE and HKN (the Electrical Engineering honor society). We often tutored underclassmen in lower-div electrical engineering courses. I have taken: AP Calculus AP Statistics AP Physics AP Computer Science AP US History AP English SAT GRE In my rigorous engineering curriculum, I have covered a diverse range of topics across math, science, engineering, and computer science. As mentioned in my experience section, I'm really interested in helping those around me succeed. I am the type of person who is generally excited about life and I believe with good reason! (I get to work at the coolest place in the world and on the coolest stuff I could possibly imagine!) I build robots and do hard math everyday XD. I am not one of those people who was "numerically gifted" growing up. It took a lot of work for me to get to where I am now. I believe the initial struggle allowed me to develop a good intuition for how to teach the same topics I once grappled with. Additionally, I believe this taught me patience - I am a very patient teacher and am willing to continue with a specific topic until the student is ready to move on. I have learned there is tremendous value in doing this. Additionally, I think all levels of understanding are equally important. (i.e. I am not beyond tutoring 5th grade rational numbers @ 1:00pm and partial differential equations @ 3:00pm.) Apart from building robots, I do outreach work at CMU. I also like to rock climb and am a big outdoors enthusiast. I am pretty silly and like to make things fun. BUT NOT TOO FUN. just kidding.
