I was once a student who struggled a lot in school. I didn't understand how to best study and I had my own learning style. The reason I decided to become a teacher was to help those students who struggle and just need a little help. I think all students are able to succeed, they just need to realize their unique learning style and they need a teacher who is able to cater to it. As a teacher, it's my responsibility to help build each child's confidence with learning and themselves. I like to work with each student one-on-one to help them stay organized and to help them break problems into smaller pieces. I also help students recognize and develop their learning style. My goal is to help my students feel good about themselves and their abilities.I have 11 years of experience working with students of all abilities and varied subject needs. I have experience working with students individually, in groups, and in entire classrooms. I also have experience helping prepare students for tests.When I'm not teaching, I like to work on arts and crafts projects. I also spend my time outdoors and enjoy gardening.
