I am Tiwa, and I tutor because of the great reward that both parties receive when a student achieves successful results. It is my hope to pass on my knowledge and tools for success that assisted me with my own educational obstacles. I believe in incorporating an interactive learning environment for my students; I find it has been the most effective way in which they understand new concepts. I have attended both the University of Pittsburgh and Johns Hopkins University. I currently live in Rosedale, MD. I am able to assist students in middle school mathematics, pre-algebra through algebra 2, precalculus, calculus 1, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and physical science. I am also able to assist students with test prep in many ACT, AP, and MCAT subject exams in numerous mathematics and science courses, as well as reading, writing, social and behavioral sciences, English, and verbal reasoning. In my free time, I enjoy singing, reading, and running to stay in shape.
