I find tutoring to be a very rewarding experience. The first tutoring job I had was with a 7th grader with ADHD who was struggling in school. He also had a number of discipline issues with his teachers and parents. Working with this particular student was not easy, but contributing to his improvement in school was extremely rewarding, as not only was I able to instill a level of confidence in the student, but also in myself as he tested my perseverance and patience.
