"But I'm not a good writer" is no longer an excuse! Writing can be a highly personal and also highly academic way to express one's opinions and view of the world around them! No one person's writing is the same as the next and I want to foster the unique perspective of your writing through personalized lessons and tutoring sessions done either online or in person! I want to be a tutor to help grade school writers find their passion and hone their skills for academic and creative writing! As a former drama instructor and teaching assistant for Freshman at my undergraduate college, I find teaching and tutoring to be wholly amazing. As a playwright, I have a lot of experience with storytelling, research papers, and writing cover letters/college essays. I've worked with several amazing writers over the years including Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), Qui Nguyen (Vampire Cowboys), Megan Kennedy, and David Adjmi (Marie Antoinette). I've been invited to several workshops and reading festivals all over the East Coast to participate in the writing process with other theater professionals. When I'm not writing plays, I'm writing music! I'm a composer and songwriter who plays piano, guitar, cello, and violin. I'm also interested in comic books (i.e. Marvel, and graphic novels such as Fun Home and Persepolis) , baking, politics and movies!!
