Hi, I'm Abby. I am a genetics and cell biology tutor with more than four years of experience. Right now I work at the University of Pittsburgh in a molecular parasitology and evolutionary lab. For three years of my college career, I tutored in genetics and cell physiology. My expertise doesn't stop with biology, genetics, and cell physiology. I am also available to help with math, including algebra 1, algebra 2, and geometry. I can also tutor in anatomy, reading, ecology, and study skills.My tutoring style includes walking the student through the problem first. Then, I have the student explain to me what thought process they used to come up with their answer. I pride myself in being extremely patient. I have a great sense of humor and love incorporating fun into learning. I also believe in teaching in a very hands-on manner. In my spare time, you can find me cooking, cycling, camping, reading, and learning card tricks.
