Education

I am recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Environmental Studies. I also studied Spanish and Global Studies. I had the opportunity to study abroad twice: Once in Spain and another time in Mexico, in order to better my Spanish speaking skills.

Experience

I am ESL certified and have gone through the teaching courses for that program. Studying Spanish, I understand the frustration of learning a new language and it is so rewarding to me to be able to help other people overcome those obstacles. I have taught English to school kids in Mexico, and have also spent time teaching weekly group lessons here in Pittsburgh. If you are a Spanish speaker, I am an advanced speaker, so that could be an advantage for you. However, I am open to anyone.
