I am a junior mechanical engineering student at Carnegie Mellon University with minors in materials science, mechanical behavior of materials, and business administration. I have earned a 3.7 GPA through my first 4 semesters and made the Dean’s list for two of them
Experience
I am frequently sought out by my peers for help on course work because I am receptive, understanding, and knowledgeable. This fall I will be also taking a position as a grader and office hours holder for students in mechanical engineering classes that I have previously passed with an 'A' grade. I received a 32 composite score on the ACT including a 33 on the math section. I did not take the SAT test however I took the math 1 subject test and received a prefect score. I also earned a 5 on the AP chemistry, AB calculus, and US government exams. I want to become a grader because I feel that I have the technical knowledge and the personality to help younger students in their academic endeavors just the way I was in the past and continue to be. I have a passion for academia and I'm very excited to venture to the other side of the learning process.

Hobbies
I love playing and watching sports, especially hockey. I play for the CMU club team. I enjoy getting outside to go fishing, hiking, biking, or even just a walk around campus. I enjoy exercising on a daily basis.
