Hobbies

My greatest joy is spending time with my wonderful family. As far as my personal interests are concerned, I enjoy running, working out, and playing Ping-Pong and darts. I also love all sports. I played football and ran track in high school and college. In addition, I played baseball competitively until I was 23 years old. I have coached little league baseball, 9th grade and summer league basketball, and high school football. I am an active member of my church and do volunteer work as well. The most important qualities I possess are my enthusiastic attitude, and my strong passion for teaching. I believe my job as a teacher goes far beyond simply teaching mathematics. I want to instill confidence in my students, and help them believe they can be successful at any endeavor they choose in life. I want them to understand the importance of hard work and perseverance not only in the classroom, but in life as well. I view myself as both a teacher and a coach/mentor to my students. My success can only be measured by the success of my students and the people they turn out to be as adults.
