Experience
Currently, I am in my 4th year teaching elementary education. For the past 2 years I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade Science and Social Studies, with a focus on the scientific process and creating engaging, authentic learning experiences. I also have a variety of experiences tutoring elementary aged students in Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Science. I have also tutored both adults and children in ESL. I am well prepared to be a tutor through my training and experience as an elementary educator. Tutoring will offer me the challenge of offering specialized support or enrichment to students depending upon their needs. SAT score 1350 (this score is from 1999, which was prewriting and out of a total of 1600 points.)
