I graduated from Duquesne University May 9 with a 3.88 GPA in Early Education. I am currently attending Duquesne University for my Masters in Special Education.

Experience

I was a PACT tutor through Duquesne University for 4 years. I worked with a variety of students within the grade range of PreK-5th grade. I also worked in a second grade classroom as an in class tutor, providing help to individual students and small groups. I did my student teaching experience in a fourth grade classroom in Upper St. Clair. I have had many experiences in classrooms ranging from preschool to fourth grade. Lastly, I was a Strong Women Strong Girls mentor working with girls in urban areas to encourage positive self image.

Hobbies

I am a very creative person and I like to do activities that encourages my creativity. Some of my hobbies include crafting, baking and reading. Since I am going to be a future teacher I like to take my hobbies and use it to inspire children to learn. I am a firm believer that children learn best when they are having fun and being active participants in their learning. I like to encourage children to learn by creating activities that they want to complete.
