I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, with a Bachelor's in History, minor in Mandarin Chinese, and a recipient of the Asian Studies Certificate. Dean's list for spring 2013 semester. I also possess an Associate's in General Studies from the Community College of Allegheny county. Over all GPA (from both institutions) 3.188.
Experience
I want to be an educator first and foremost. The university history classes I have taken that I am proficient in tutoring are as follows; Ancient China, Late Imperial China, Modern China, Latin American history after independence, African history after the 1800s, history of the Ottoman Empire, Russian history from the 1800s to the Bolshevik Revolution. I have taken 5 semesters of Mandarin Chinese and have knowledge in reading, writing, and speaking. Chinese culture and history were my concentration during my time at the University of Pittsburgh. I have also taken classes related to sociology, philosophy, and college level essay writing.

Hobbies
As my main passion is Chinese history, one of my major hobbies is collecting history books. I also have a serious passion for the Mandarin language. Beyond those academic pursuits, I am an artist by hobby. I am exceptionally passionate about history and my goal is to educate others and make the education fun and interesting while retaining and highlighting the importance of the subject material.
