I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in biochemistry with a minor in math from Duquesne University. I intend to pursue my master's degree in chemistry upon graduation. I've worked as a tutor since high school. I find tutoring rewarding because it allows me to view material in new ways. Prior to college, I was accepted into a physics- and math-centered high school in Moscow, Russia.I tutor many science and math courses as well as Russian. I believe being a native Russian speaker allows me to offer insight into the country, culture, and language that many other tutors may not be able to provide. Some of the specific courses I tutor include elementary math, middle school math, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, biochemistry, physical science, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, and associated AP courses. I am also available to help students prepare for standardized exams such as the GRE and SAT.I am passionate about chemistry and have worked in an organic chemistry laboratory for several years. I've had the results of my findings published in the European Journal of Organic Chemistry.During my free time, I enjoy writing, gardening, spending time outdoors, and reading.
