I'm a tutor and a college student who is finishing my last year at the University of Pittsburgh. I am a Biological Sciences major, and I plan to get a bachelor's degree in biology.I'm experienced in working with secondary school students, as I was involved in a teacher internship program that focused on helping underprivileged students access good high schools, and then four-year colleges later in life.Here are the subjects I tutor in: Middle School Math, Biology, Chemistry, Math, Geometry, Arithmetic, Algebra 1, AP Calculus AB, Physics, Pre-Algebra, Genetics, AP Biology, Algebra 2, Science, Trigonometry, Honors Chemistry, etc.When I tutor my students, I keep the learning atmosphere relaxing, yet challenging. I encourage them to focus on the main point of a problem instead of getting wrapped up into the details.When I want to escape from teaching for a while, I spend time in the great outdoors of Pittsburgh. I hunt, hike, and fish. During the winter season, I love to ski. I also like to play soccer and tennis. Many of my hobbies consist of sports because I'm an advocate of keeping in shape and staying healthy. When I need to relax, I amuse myself with books and playing music on my guitar.
