Reading, continuing to learn, and teaching have all shaped me as an educator. This helped me be hands-on with my approach. I now hold a job at a local museum. Since I've lived in Pittsburgh my whole life, it's important to me to assist other locals to continue to improve upon their education. I went to high school at CAPA, where I focused on literary arts education. After going to high school, I continued my education by focusing on an environmental studies and biology major. During my schooling I worked with many area publications. In high school, I was on the newspaper team. I also helped to create my college alumni magazine. These opportunities have helped me be successful at helping individuals improve their essays used to get into college, as well as school papers. I like to assist each student to get to know his or her unique needs. I also like to help students improve their analytical skills when writing. In the future, my goal is to continue my education. I want to get a PhD. I plan to study Ecological biology. While I love studying English and science topics, I also love to tutor geography, Spanish, and art.When I'm not teaching, you can find me rock climbing. I also love to learn as much as I can about bees.
