I believe that unless you can break a subject down into its simple components, you do not truly understand it. I want to tutor because I have a passion for teaching, and I am able to come up with different analogies or ways of thinking that may resonate more with a student.

Born and raised in the heart of Philadelphia, I grew up with a strong sense of community and a passion for culture. In high school I played the flute and piccolo in the marching band, concert band, symphony orchestra, and show orchestra, and I continue to perform in my own flute ensemble. I am a classically trained pianist, having participated in several state competitions as well as one international competition where I received second place at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. I love kids, having baby sat for close friends most of my life. I pride myself in my patience, and will happily assist your child at the speed at which they are comfortable with. I received tutoring in math when I was a kid, and am aware of how frustrating it can be at times. I will use my experience and passion to teach to help your child excel to the absolute best of my ability.
