Upon her return to Pittsburgh, Kirstin completed the Master’s of Arts in Teaching program at Chatham University.

She completed her student teaching in a 10th grade World History classroom at Upper St. Clair High School. In addition to working with private clients and managing KEFTutoring, Kirstin is a freelance writer of curricula and lesson materials for Social Studies and English/Language Arts online courses and a substitute teacher for a number of well regarded suburban school districts and private schools. Kirstin has taught American History 8, Honors American History 9, and World History 10 in the North Allegheny School District and United States History II at Fox Chapel Area High School.
