Private tutor in Pittsburgh, PA
Kansas State University - B.A., Humanities
I am a columnist writer for the Examiner, where I write about education related to Pittsburgh, as well as classical education. When I attended school, I studied at an academy that allowed me to study Classical Latin and Greek. While in high school, I also competed and won two first place medals and a second place medal in a Latin competition. As a university student, I continued my classical language studies, studying at both the University of Pittsburgh and Kansas State University. I finished my bachelor's at Kansas State University in humanities.I have been tutoring students in languages since 2011. I teach Latin to students who have had difficulties with the language's grammatical structures. I have also worked with students who have challenges learning. As a teacher, I believe if it possible for me to help any student succeed, I will do whatever I can to make that success a reality. Some students merely need someone to direct them down the right path, while other students need more rigorous tutoring.I really enjoy writing fictitious short stories in my leisure time. We have a community of writers in the Pittsburgh area, and I help coordinate and organize meetings for our group. I currently have written five stories that have been published.
