I am currently expecting a child of my own and I think tutoring kids will be an excellent life experience! I have been out of school now for about two years and continue to write independently. I have taken classes such as American Literature, African American Literature, Fiction Writing, Creative Non-Fiction, News Writing and Editing, Screenwriting, and Writing with the Senses. More importantly, I have taken a number of writing workshops which have taught me how to find the creative voice within, how to battle writer's block, how to edit and critique others' works, and how to humbly receive and respect the critiques of my own works. I would love to pass on not only the knowledge I have in Reading, Writing, and Editing, but the passion as well.
