Experience
I have been an educator for the past three years. I have both classroom experience and tutoring experience, mainly with children in kindergarten up to the 12th grade. I am well rounded, in the sense that I have worked with students of varying abilities and needs. I believe that in order for the students to excel, they must learn proper note taking, look at patterns, and develop a great work ethic. This is something I tend to instill in all of the students who work with me. I have my B.A. in History from Penn State. I also have my master's in Education from Duquesne and two certifications in Secondary English and Social Studies. I tutor in a variety of subjects, including: editing, grammar, writing, and history. I can work with those at an elementary school level, middle school level, high school level, and college level. When I am not in the classroom or spending time with students tutoring them on subjects, I am usually found performing yoga or running. I also love being in the kitchen and consider myself a decent cook and baker. I haven't forgotten my roots and absolutely love visiting Penn State and the surrounding area whenever I have some free time.
