30+ years working with children of all ages to adults within a variety of experiences...Individually, small group, classroom teacher, and as Program Supervisor. I have worked in school settings, daycare,and provided home based instruction. I have 20 years experience working with children and families in the capacity of Learning Specialist and Learning Center Supervisor within a family mental health agency. There I administered psychoeducational evaluations, provided hands on learning experiences at both clinic and school based settings, as well as trained and supervised others. In addition, I have provided private tutoring. I have working knowledge and experience with evidence based learning programs specific to the needs of those struggling with Dyslexia; Orton Gillingham and the Barton Reading And Spelling System. Over the years I have attended workshops and trainings focused on methods to better support those with attention disorders, and other concerns impacting learning.

I am a believer in meeting the student at their comfort level and building from there. I believe that everyone has their own individual learning style. I believe that learning can be fun.
