In high school, I was part of my school's tutoring program for 4 years. I helped kids in subjects reaching from algebra and calculus to reading, writing and SAT prep. Currently, I work at Earthen Vessels Outreach in Pittsburgh, PA, where I've gained some experience in tutoring 8-12 year olds in math and writing. Also, high school juniors and seniors in Physics and Spanish. English Capable of writing high-quality/college-level essays. I'm most comfortable with helping improve style and syntax. English as a Second Language I learned to speak English over a period of 3 years. I've had several lessons on grammar, colloquial expressions and pronunciation. I can relay all the tools I was given to master the language to anyone who needs them! Computer Science I'm very comfortable with the Python programming language. I can help with all native python modules as well as external libraries such as pygame. I'm also proficient in C and Ruby. Calculus Have got a very good understanding of techniques for differentiation and integration of functions and their applications such as areas and maximization. Have a decent grasp of series and approximation. Spanish I'm a native Spanish speaker. I find myself able to compose college-level essays as well express myself eloquently and fluently in Spanish.
