Experience
I am a Chinese teacher from Taiwan with 12-year teaching experience. I am currently teaching intermediate and advanced Chinese at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. I hold several teaching certificates, including the Teacher’s License by Education Ministry from Taiwan, the Certificate of Elementary Education and the Foreign Language Teaching Certificate in Mandarin Chinese. I have always been adaptive with my teaching and used my creativity integrated with movies, songs and other elements to inspire my students in a love for literature. I offer beginner/intermediate Mandarin private lessons. My class is custom-made. I am also open to casual/textbook teaching styles, whichever approach you feel comfortable with.
