I am currently finishing up medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in May of 2019 with a double major in Honors Biochemistry (BS) and Spanish (BA) and a minor in Mathematics. I graduated from my undergraduate institution with a 4.00 GPA.
Experience
At every level of training since high school, I have served as both a private tutor and a Teaching Assistant (TA) for primarily math and science courses. Through these experiences, I have developed a unique approach to tutoring that focuses on interactive and collaborative techniques that are more likely to improve retention, speed, and understanding. I got a 517 on the MCAT and scored 129-130 (out of 132) on each of the 4 sections. I scored a 33 on my ACT, with a perfect 36 in the Math and Science sections. I also scored at least a 3 on the 17 AP courses I took, including a perfect 5 on AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and AP Microeconomics.

Hobbies
Some of my hobbies include playing/watching sports, hiking, and reading. I was born and raised in beautiful Arkansas, so I am a huge Arkansas Razorbacks fan for all college sports. I am also a Dallas Cowboys, Boston Celtics, and Chicago Cubs fan. Pittsburgh natives, please do not hold these against me! Coming from "The Natural State," I love spending time outdoors, especially hiking. Lastly, as a student in medical school, I can bring a lot of valuable experience that is both relatable and pertinent to students of all ages.
