Hi, my name is Ellen. I born in Beijing and came to US in 2009 for further academic pursuit. I learned English since I was in primary school and all my teachers were Americans or Canadians,so I got a very strong language background at both Chinese and English. I graduated from High School of Peking University, whose Chinese(Mandarin) major is one of the bests in the world. And I also won many awards of Chinese speech and writing competitions in China. I have my Chinese teaching experience for over 3 years. When I was in high school, I teached Finnish and American international students who exchanged to my school. We communicated well, and they recommaned me to many of their friends. I spent every summer and winter vacation on tutoring Chinese. Class was fun and we all learned a lot from each other.I also have a student since I got here. My students'age are from 18 to 35.Since Im a communication major, I have no problem communicating with my students. I'm willing to help students who is in the beginning, intemediate, or advanced level of Chinese. And I'm happy to teach both children and adults. I can have class on Tuesday Thurday and the whole weekend, and class time can be discussed through further contact.Class rate will be between 30 to 40 dollars per hour, and it can be discussed through further contact.I live in North hill and I can drive to the student's house or they can come to my place~
