Experience
I am a retired college professor with 40+ years of teaching experience at the university level. Over the years I have taught many different psychology courses, and have frequently included classes on the practical uses of psych research -- with respect to enhancing study skills, memory skills in general, test-taking strategies; writing essays and longer research report; and the preparation and delivery of in-class oral reports. The part of teaching that I miss is the one-to-one contact with students who came to me for individual help with papers, and tips on study techniques and oral presentations. Hence my interest in tutoring.
