I'm a tutor based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I've received my college education from three different schools: the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, and the US Naval Academy. During my college years, I studied in the Math, Counseling, Psychology, Administration, and English fields.I have over 20 years experience of teaching secondary school students. What made my tutoring career interesting was that my students taught me in many ways as I was teaching them. It's what I believe enriched my roles as a mentor and a human being.Here is a list of the subjects I teach: Writing, English, SAT (Verbal, Writing, and Critical Reading), Literature, Test Prep, College Essays, Grammar and Mechanics, ACT, PSAT, etc.As a child, my parents always emphasized the significance of education. It wasn't an easy route to take, but spending time on school work with knowledgeable teachers improved my academic abilities. Being a student and a tutor helped me learn much about myself and life in general. Anyone can learn something, and learning is something no one can take away from you.Some of my hobbies include playing sports and engaging in other fitness activities. I also like to listen to music, watch movies, attend theaters, and work in my garden.
