I am currently working as a teacher, a writer, and as the editor in chief for an online publication. My two passions in life are writing and education, which is why I've been teaching college-level English for the past 11 years. Being able to communicate effectively is essential for success in the professional and academic settings. People without a strong understanding of English often lack the same opportunities as those who can eloquently express themselves, which is why it's important that everyone gets the same access to a quality education. My goal is to empower students by giving them the tools necessary to succeed in every aspect of life, not just the classroom. Along with teaching English, I try to help my students develop critical thinking skills so they're able to overcome challenges when they're out in the world. I also have experience English as a Second Language in Chengdu, China.
