I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with my bachelor's in neuroscience, minoring in Spanish and chemistry. After I graduated, I worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant at UP's chemistry department, tutoring students both in one-on-one and small group settings. I worked with organic and general chemistry students to improve their grasp of the coursework, work on homework, and prepare for tests. My studies were heavily focused on math, physics, biology, and physiology topics. I'm most qualified to these subjects, breaking down complicated concepts into easily understood material. Though I am most adept in scientific subjects, I am a fluent Spanish speaker. I took four years in the subject, gaining strong skills in reading and writing in the language. I am well-versed in the intricacies of editing Spanish composite and grammar. I have a strong understanding of the Spanish culture, allowing me to tutor students in the language, as well as the culture and history. I can help students prepare for their MCAT, ACT, and SAT, as well as improve their understanding of high school to college biology. Outside of coursework and tutoring, I often explore Pittsburgh on its many bike trails. I enjoy checking out the museums, libraries, and restaurants in the area.
