Experience
To be a teacher has been a long time goal and passion of mine. I have always found it to be not only fulfilling but incredibly enjoyable as well. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Mechanics. I then later attended the University of Pittsburgh, where I received my MS and Ph.D. in Bioengineering. Since that time, I have been able to follow my own research in functional neuroimaging and along the way, I have had the opportunity to guide and train my own students. I have taught students in the traditional classroom setting as well as through one-on-one sessions. I have been fortunate to teach Introduction to Biomedical Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, and Biomedical Imaging. I currently offer tutoring in algebra, mechanical engineering, statistics, geometry, and more. I have experience working with students from multiple backgrounds and various different ages from early elementary to graduate level students. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two boys, reading, cooking, and swimming. I love to travel to new places and I strive to continue my own education and personal development whenever I can.
