For the past six years I've helped students of various levels learn and improve their skills. This ranges from children in elementary school to graduate students. English is my passion, and I want my students to gain a strong understanding. This leaves them ready for anything that comes their way, from academics to the professional world. I want everyone to develop a strong sense or writing, no matter what their life plans are. For this reason, I focus on working with the student to help them improve their papers, rather than making suggested edits for them. I earned my bachelor's from Wittenberg University, where I studied English. I am currently earning my MFA at Chatham University. Among the subjects I help in are ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, English Grammar, College Essays, Languages, English, Poetry Writing, high school and college level English, and Comparative Literature. I also provide help with the IB Extended Essay. Outside of academic pursuits, I love to play and listen to music, watch different movies, and play chess. I enjoy traveling and have visited Costa Rica, Italy, Canada, France, and Ireland, to name a few. I also love learning about other subjects, such as religion and space exploration.
