I'm a tutor who is based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I enjoy playing tennis, reading, and expanding my knowledge when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I've been playing tennis for 12 years, and was even part of several leagues while in college. I have my bachelor's degree in biophysics from Loyola University in Chicago. I'm currently gearing up to start my doctoral program in biophysics at the University of Pittsburgh. As a tutor, I'm able to help students with a variety of subjects related to math, science, and standardized test preparation. I'm very passionate about helping students understand math, physics, and biology, and the ACT. I love the feeling I get when I'm able to help a student finally reach a breakthrough moment in an area that they've been struggling with for awhile. I help students improve by providing individualized lesson plans that take their specific strengths and weaknesses into account.
