I graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. One of the main reasons why I loved studying philosophy was because it allowed me to tackle a number of different subjects from the eyes if a philosopher. During my time as a student, I learned about logic, ethics, and the philosophy of language and math. Additionally, I also take a keen interest in writing, math, and various languages. While I was a final-year student, I helped teach three introductory courses. Not only did this experience help me sharpen my skills as a teacher, it also showed me that I love working as an educator. I especially enjoy working in a one-on-one setting where I'm able to give a student the extra assistance they need to overcome their challenges. One of the reasons why I like tutoring so much is because it gives me the opportunity to customize lessons to suit the individual needs of the pupil. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to education. Instead, I think that everyone needs to be engaged and taught in a way that works best for them. When I'm not teaching, I love spending my time reading, writing, and playing sports.
