I am currently in my fourth year at Duquesne University majoring in Middle Level Education (4-8th grade) and Spanish. I have a 3.72 QPA since my freshman year. Additionally, I have worked within schools and created numerous lesson plans for students, which transfers well to tutoring. In the schools, I have tutored students struggling with writing, math, Language Arts, social studies, and Spanish. I have also worked with students who need an extra challenge.
Experience
I want to be a tutor because I enjoy learning and helping kids. I have a passion for teaching and also Spanish. I have been speaking Spanish for ten years and I have traveled to several Spanish-speaking countries. I have also lived in Spain for a few months. I am currently studying to be a teacher, so I have had a great amount of experience with content and methods. I have also been working in schools for my program, where I have tutored students in different subjects.
