Experience

I have on multiple occasions(with permission and encouragement) lectured on topics relevant to the classes I was enrolled in at Pitt. Also, I often found myself leading study groups to help other understand the content of the courses I was enrolled in. Personally, I have struggled with, or am aware of the struggles of being diagnosed with ADD/ADHA and/ or Dyslexia. Part of my own reasons for wanting to tutor are my own achievements in overcoming some of these difficulties, as I hope to inspire other to do the same.

Hobbies

I love music, chess and philosophy. Philosophy literally means the love of wisdom; I feel blessed to wake up everyday to try and learn something new. Thus, learning for its own sake, I feel, is the activity of the wise. I hope to be able to help other engage with learning in a way that will not only have the practical relevance desired, but will be an experience cherished for its own sake.
