In her spare time, Chrystal serves on the Board of Directors for the Human Services Center Corporation- a non-profit with over $1.5 million in annual revenue; and she serves on the Pittsburgh Arts Research Committee-an advisory council to the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council. Over the course of her career, Chrystal has earned several special appointments, awards, and honors in recognition of her consistently outstanding work and dedication to service. In 2015, she was asked to assist the United Way of Allegheny County in reviewing proposals for funding from the Helping Families Thrive program. In 2013, Chrystal served as Chairman of the Mayor’s Workforce Development, Jobs, and Human Capital transition team. She also loves to run and ran the Great Race last year with her two children.
