Hobbies

Recent graduate, looking to stay sharp in my field while making a little extra cash on the side. Education is extremely important to me, and I try to be a part of it any way I can. I founded a weekly writer's workshop in Pittsburgh, PA where young people from all walks of life meet weekly to discuss their creative writing. It has been awarded a Sprout grant and has been going strong for over two years. I worked in a medical research lab for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for over two years, with a focus on women's health and Immunology (as well as Infectious Diseases). On a more personal level, I enjoy music (I play the drums & produce/mix songs) and, as you may imagine, I enjoy writing fiction and poetry. I am a stickler for good grammar (although won't make unnecessary corrections).
