Experience
I earned a degree in neuroscience and philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh, and I intend to apply for admittance to medical school starting in the fall of 2016. Up until that time, however, I intend to bide my time by continuing to tutor students.I also work with Pittsburgh Health Corps. Specifically, I've been assigned to work under programs affiliated with the Allegheny Health Department. While a pre-med student, I signed up for various science classes that were of a general nature, and I also took some courses as a matter of personal interest. As for tutoring, I am capable of instructing students in various different subjects, including anatomy, biology, chemistry, physics, and physiology. That said, I do have a preference for assisting students who need help in math-related subjects, such as algebra 1-4, calculus 1 and 2, geometry, elementary and middle school math, precalculus, statistics, and trigonometry. I also help students prepare for the SAT and MCAT.While I like to work hard and study hard, I also like to play hard. Right now, I've been spending some of my free time developing a video game using the Java programming language. The game remains in the early development stage; however, it's an eight-bit rpg-platformer for the Android operating system. Additionally, I like playing guitar, reading comics, sci-fi, and philosophy, and cooking.
