I have a BA in Elementary Education. I also have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I received my master's from the University of Memphis. I have over 25 years of experience working with students. I have focused much of my teaching on helping students in enriched academic programs. I have worked with different elementary grade levels, but have focused a lot of my time helping 2nd grade students. I also have experience working as a level 5 teacher and a career ladder teacher. I miss helping students in the classroom. I loved helping them with their educational needs. I love to focus on math topics, but I can also help tutor reading, writing, and grammar. I work hard to make the learning experience as fun as possible and I try to find ways for the student to relate to the subject that is being taught in order to make learning more interesting. I can help with many subjects and can also help students learn better study skills and also better prepare for standardized tests. When I'm not helping students, I like to spend time playing games. I also like to take part in cultural experiences, like seeing plays and musicals. I'm ready to help you reach your educational goals!
