EducationI am a third year doctoral student with a 3.99 grade point average studying Higher and Adult Education and Community College Leadership and Teaching. I also possess the following degrees:
-MA Educational Leadership, Student Affairs
-BA Liberal Studies
I was on the statewide academic team during my undergraduate career and have won numerous awards and honors for my academic work.
ExperienceI am a current adjunct college professor and administrator located in the east suburbs of Pittsburgh. I teach college skills at a local institution and am able to offer expert level college admissions and financial aid counseling in which I have over a decade of experience. I have personally received over $80,000 in scholarships in grants to fund my education and am truly passionate in helping others to go to college and find the financial aid to do so.
I also work as an administrator specifically with students with Autism, learning and other disabilities at my college. I was previously a social skills coach with young adults with Autism and have taught faculty/staff seminars on how to work with students with Autism. I believe that students with Autism have special gifts and simply need someone to help them capitalize on these gifts to be successful college students.
If you are interested, please email me. I provide a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if my services are a good fit for you. I am also available by phone for college counseling/financial aid consultations.
HobbiesIn my spare time, I am a classically trained singer, I attend church regularly and enjoy volunteering to help others.
