Education

I earned my BS Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, then earned my PhD Rehabilitation Science at University of Pittsburgh. I took an additional concentration in biostatistics.

Experience

I am a very experienced tutor, with over 20 years experience tutoring. I have taught classes at the college and high school levels - as well as 1x/week science classes for elementary students. I am also experienced with tutoring students with all types of backgrounds, from college students down through elementary students. I have worked with students who are returning to college or grad school including stay-at-home parents, those interested in a career change, and military veterans. I really love tutoring one-on-one. It gives me the opportunity to really help the individual student move forward. I basically tutor any kind of math, physics and chemistry, as well as the standardized tests. I have flexible scheduling available! GRE scores: math = 800 SAT scores: math = 730 SAT II score: math II = 780 One additional note: I charge $40/hour for high school level subjects, including AP, SAT, ACT, Keystone. I charge $50/hour for college classes, GRE, GMAT.
