Hobbies
I'm incredibly passionate about education, and want to go to graduate school to obtain an MAT or an M.Ed in order to become a high school math (and hopefully English as well) teacher. I love working with kids of all ages (even college students like myself), and like to teach/tutor using inquiry-based learning. This method consists of asking questions to guide a student to the correct answer to ensure understanding and avoid simply "giving answers". I like to read, play guitar, or just relax with friends in my free time, and the 2 hrs a week I spend tutoring a 9th grader during the semester are 2 of my favorite hours of the week.
