| Experience: | Hi, my name is Gabriel. I have been a tutor for 5+ years and love working with students. In high school I began peer-tutoring at the suggestion of my Biology teacher. Ever since then, tutoring has been a passion and a joy. At the moment I am working towards a Bachelors in Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. Most of the students I work with are in high school and beginning college applications. With this in mind I try to motivate them to find a passion and work towards a goal that will help in their future. Whether it means keeping a daily planner or programming every reminder into a cellphone, we can find a way to get it done. I have tutored in AP Biology, AP Chemistry, SAT Prep, US History and several other subjects. Often times, getting students engaged in learning can be difficult, but once that happens, it's actually quite fun. Please contact me if you have any questions about other subjects. My schedule is very flexible. SAT: 2310 AP Biology, AP Chemistry, Honors US History |
| Hobbies: | I love biking, tennis, cooking, TV (guilty pleasure) and ceramics. I am also minoring in Sculpture and Installation art. Most of my time is spent reading anything I can get my hands on, working, or hanging out with friends. |

I contacted Gabe because my son was close to failing his Algebra course. That was two months ago. After weekly tutoring sessions, my son not only understands the material, but his teacher has approached me about him being in the top of the class. I wholeheartedly recommend Gabe and wish him the best of luck in the future. Posted 3 months ago by Jack |
